Largely influenced by the natural world, my photography has been captured through a lens that emphasizes both detail and emotion. The collection showcases a variety of landscapes, flora, and fauna, all framed to highlight the intricate connections within nature. Utilizing long exposure techniques, we create softer, dreamy images that transform the ordinary into the extraordinary, allowing viewers to experience fleeting moments in time. From the gentle flow of a waterfall to the ethereal movement of clouds, each photograph invites you to immerse yourself in the tranquil yet dynamic essence of the natural world.
I also practice and teach a form of contemplative photography called Miksang (Tibetan for "good eye."). Born from the vision and guidance of Tibetan Buddhist teacher Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, Nalanda Miksang is an art form that guides us on a journey to better see and appreciate the world around us.
